Michael has been a mentor, writer, and performer with Tellin’ Tales Theatre since 2006 starting with Six Stories Up in the Ozone. He has appeared in numerous Tellin’ Tales original productions such as Divercity (2015, 2016 & 2017); the Solo Show – Phobias; plus Six Stories Up at the Art Institute, Six Stories Up, Up, and Away, and Six Stories Up on Mount Olympus plus Fillet of Solo. In 2016 Michael was selected to join the original ensemble for FREEDOM: Out of Order, a Chicago Voices project of the Lyric Opera. In 2019 Mike also performed in the workshop of Always Greener – an original musical being produced by Tellin’ Tales. In additional to his active life in theater and storytelling around Chicago, Michael launched www.herzovitalks.com in 2018 for his voiceover work. He narrated the short film Counterbalance, and voiced Crom Saunders in the documentary Code of the Freaks. For the audiobook of Prince Smurphy-Murphy and the Chocolate Mushrooms, he performed over 20 character voices. Michael continued to perform with Small Fish Radio Theatre. Michael will appear as “Richard Parrish” this Fall in the upcoming Fox Television series, NeXt.”
